To Israel offered a truce

The situation in the Middle East continues to escalate. Earlier it was reported that Israel had agreed to stop the shelling of the Gaza Strip by the visit of Prime Minister of Egypt Hisham Kandil.
The decision was taken, Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. This was done at the request of the Egyptian side. Kandil visit was to last three hours. However, the truce had not been met. Shortly after arriving in the Egyptian Gaza rocket attacks continued. Hand, as usual, began to blame each other. Israeli media reported that the Palestinian rocket flew into the office building in the Eshkol. Ostensibly in response to the Israeli Air Force attacked, during which they attacked the house of Hamas leader Muhammad Abu Shamal and Prime Minister Ismail Haniyeh. Both were not injured.
In turn, tend to blame the Palestinians of violating the truce Israel. According to them, the Israeli Air Force plane dropped a bomb on civilians in Nazila. Egyptian Prime Minister during his visit, called the actions of the Israeli aggression and asked the international community to take action.
However, more recently it was reported that the Palestinian government has also put forward new conditions for a truce. Earlier they said that about any cease-fire is not out of the question as long as Israel does not fully answer the murder military wing leader Ahmad al-Jabari, who was eliminated on Wednesday by the Israeli army.
Vice-Premier of the Cabinet Islamist Ziad al-Zaza, said: "In principle, we agree to a truce, but first we have to be given guarantees the aggression, assassinations and incursions of the Israeli forces in the border areas of the Gaza Strip. These are our conditions for a truce," - RIA Novosti reported.

Israel, however, this still does not respond. Earlier, the Tel Aviv even announced the possibility of a ground operation. For this was mobilized 16,000 reservists.

Response of international organizations was predictable. The European Union unequivocally supported Israel. The UN Security Council has not been uniform. For example, Russia, unlike the majority of the members did not unilaterally blame the Palestinians, and drew attention to the inadequacy of Israel's harsh response. In fact, some experts believe that the new aggravation of the situation may be due to the Palestinian Authority plans to apply to the UN Security Council for the status of an observer on November 29. Israeli Ambassador to Russia Dorit Golender already declared that such intentions may affect the negotiation process. "This will not lead to peace between our countries," - she said.
Other experts point out that the new large-scale Israeli military operation "pillar of cloud" came in the pre-election period. However, those who are trying to find a connection between these facts, Israeli leaders said they were not ordering attacks from the Gaza Strip on the eve of the election.
Recall that the escalation of the conflict, which began on 14 November, resulted in massive rocket attacks. As a result, killed 19 Palestinians and three Israelis. Among the dead are women and children. Many international airlines even canceled their flights to Tel Aviv as an unprecedented case. City was rocket attacks by Palestinians. Rocket trajectory coincided with the air corridor used by international companies to fly to Israel.
